Offer members a one-stop shopping experience for all of their DeBordieu needs.

Include only top-quality brands within the golf industry to provide the membership with a merchandise experience they can be proud of.

Having forged lasting relationships with sales reps through the Carolinas, some of the brands to be considered are, but are not limited to: Peter Millar, Holderness and Bourne, Greyson, B-Draddy, Johnnie-O, Stitch, and Ralph Lauren.

To create a true one-stop shop, my goal would be to create a space that offers both men’s and ladies' apparel that is appropriate for a morning of golf, an afternoon of casual dining, and a formal evening at the club.

Being able to offer members a place to shop without having to leave the colony is often overlooked, but it will be at the forefront of my merchandising strategy.

Tournament Operations

Being able to offer a world-class tournament is fundamental for the operation and the overall member experience.

Having led our team to increase tournament participation by 54% for associations and 43% for club majors, listening and knowing what members expect will be a vital part of the program.

One example of what we have been able to do in the last five years is reinvent our member-guest. When I took it over, we struggled to get teams to fill one golf course, to where we are now, with a lengthy waitlist and utilizing both courses.

Listening to members’ wants was key in developing this event into something the membership can again be proud of.

Teaching

The game of golf has forever strived for the “one perfect swing”. With modern analysis and more access to data than ever, it has been found that every person has their own unique perfect swing. It’s been my goal to unlock that swing within each individual. Using tools such as SportsBoxAI, we’ve been able to objectively measure each person and unlock their full potential.

Making unique offerings to all members regardless of age, handicap, or number of years played. We will offer individual lessons, group clinics, junior lessons, golf camps, and private schools. Always adjusting and listening to members’ needs to tailor the golf experience to make everyone feel welcomed and help them enjoy the game we all love.
