The Country Club of North Carolina is a 36-hole Private facility located in Pinehurst, NC. CCNC was the host of the 2021 U.S. Junior Amateur, the 1980 U.S. Amateur, the 2010 US Girls' Amateur, the future host of the 2030 US Senior Amateur, and the 2037 US Women’s Amateur. It has also been host to a record seven Southern Amateur Championships, most recently in 2017, the 1970 and 1971 PGA Tour Match Play, and the 2018 Carolinas Amateur. It was awarded the AGM Platinum Golf Shop award in 2018, 2016, 2015, and 2014.

 

●       Manage a staff of 40 employees, both full-time and part-time

○         Management of the staff includes leading, hiring, payroll responsibilities, scheduling, and problem-solving to assure employee satisfaction while maintaining high service expectations.

●       Responsible for the golf operation budget of $3M+

○         In 2025, beat revenue expectations by 6%

○         Under budget in payroll by 5.5%

○         Under budget in expenses by 6.5%

●       Work collaboratively with the Food and Beverage and Concierge team daily

○         Daily meetings with both teams to discuss who is arriving on the property and how to best meet their needs

○         Focus on personalized touches to have members want to make CCNC their first choice to entertain

○         Constant cross-training in departments to better grow myself and my knowledge base

●       Chair of the 2023 ACC Men’s Golf Championship

○         Coordinated logistics of the entire Championship with the ACC lead

○         Created strategic planning for spectators, volunteers, food and beverage, parking, staffing, and budgeting

○         Maintained a separate budget for the club that ended in a sizable net profit

●       Collaborated with the USGA for a successful hosting of the 73rd US Junior Amateur.

○         Attended daily meetings to discuss planning and addressed any issues as they arose

○         Created systems to operate the driving range, carts, and personnel during the event

○         The largest field in the event's history (264 players)

●       Successfully run 140 events throughout the calendar year

○         The largest event (The Member-Member), consisting of 240 members

○         Event responsibilities include organization, budgeting, communication with members and other departments, and charging through JONAS software.

○         Proficient in Golf Genius Tournament Software

○         Increased participation in associations by 54% from 2018-2025

○         Increased participation in Club Majors by 43% from 2018-2025

●       Created and implemented systems to improve the golf operation

○         Restructured our staffing model and developed new bag drop and golf shop standard operating procedures

○         Assist our Professional staff in leading their staff members in maintaining the highest expectations of our club

○         Constantly look for new ways to improve our current systems and empower my staff to make systems more efficient

○         Provide a hospitality mindset and make each interaction unique for each member

●       Manage a golf car fleet of 125 cars

○         Includes creating and implementing a maintenance plan

○         Designed a system to efficiently stage up to 125 golf cars

●       Teach upwards of 40 individual lessons per year

○         Focus on data-driven methods to improve players' abilities

■         Use physical assessments of individual players to help gather objective data to tailor swings to the individual

○         Helped develop the position of Director of Instruction for the first time in the club’s history.

■         Allowed for a reinvention of the club’s instruction program

■         Brought new technology to the club and continued to be a leader in the newest teaching methodologies.

○         Created clinic programs for ladies and juniors

○         PGA Junior League Sandhills league coordinator (2018), managing seven teams with a total of over 70 kids

●       Work with our head buyer, purchasing both hard and soft goods

○         Work with sales reps buying for multiple seasons per year while building and maintaining relationships with reps from top companies in the business

○         Manage the golf shop retail staff daily

○         Process records of daily sales and manage the POS system to help organize records of goods sold

○         Organize invoices to make sure bills are paid promptly

●       Developed an internship mentor program

○         Mentor 2-5 interns per year

■         Host meetings that cover topics such as personal finance, tournament management, leadership training, golf instruction, and resume-building

 

○         Interns and assistant professionals have gone on to become Head Professionals, Lead Assistants, or develop their professional careers at top clubs throughout the country, including but not limited to: Mountain Top (NC), Aronimink (PA), Olde Farm (VA), Grandfather G&CC (NC), Sara Bay CC (FL), Tobacco Road (NC), Mountain Lake (FL).

Longue Vue Club

Longue Vue Club is an upscale private club located near downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It has hosted the Pennsylvania Senior Amateur Championship, and hosted the Pennsylvania Amateur in 2022. It has also hosted two rounds of Stroke Play in the 2021 U.S. Amateur.


  • Managed daily golf shop operations and outside service staff in the absence of the managers

  • Assumed responsibility in the golf shop by scheduling starting times and conducting sales transactions

  • Aided with tournament operations for 16 annual member events, as well as 22 annual corporate outings

  • Assisted with managing the day-to-day operations of a caddie program with over 20 caddies

  • Developed professional relationships with club members, exemplifying exceptional service

  • Worked with the Pennsylvania Golf Association to conduct the Pennsylvania Senior Amateur Championship
